UFC world champion Alex Pereira was dating Merle Christine last year after divorcing his wife, with whom he shares two children.
Both Alex and Merle have since unfollowed each other on social media and removed all traces of their relationship. Speaking about the split on the Full Send podcast, Alex said: "Well, it's a little hard to talk about this because for me, I already deleted this person from my life," and "I would also like to ask my fans to also delete her from your life.

When they broke up, Merle addressed the situation on social media, saying: "It seems like all these comments and rumours are not stopping, so I think it's important to make a little statement.
