South Lanarkshire Council are moving to reassure tenants in a block of East Kilbride flats after a fire saw a family leap from a window.
The blaze at Denholm Green in The Murray on Sunday afternoon just after 2pm saw a large-scale emergency response.Now the local authority are working alongside the police and the fire service as an investigation works into the cause of the blaze continue.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The mum remains in hospital and the family friend and colleague who set up the page says she will need months of rehabilitation.SLC - who have some tenants in the block affected - are now beginning repairs.
