Sony is inviting anyone and everyone to seek out bugs on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Network for hefty bounties.The PlayStation Bug Bounty program was announced via the official PlayStation blog in collaboration with security platform HackerOne.
The program stems from Sony’s desire to “deliver a safer place to play” to its community.To kickstart the collaboration, Sony is calling upon the “security research community, gamers and anyone else” to test the security of the PS4 and PlayStation Network.
