Sofia Kourtesis has shared the fifth single from her forthcoming debut album, Madres. “How Music Makes You Feel Better” follows a flurry of releases, including “By Your Side,” “Vajkoczy,” “Si Te Portas Bonito,” and the project’s title track.

The complete record is set to arrive late next month. While Madres details what Kourtesis had to go through during her mother’s health scare, “How Music Makes You Feel Better” diverges from the story to talk about the therapeutic properties of music itself. “During every storm, during every ups and downs, pain and grief, music is always the most beautiful thing that is going to make you feel better,” she says of the song.
