The Scottish Government has been called on to "pull out all the stops" to ensure all adult Scots receive a third booster jab before the New Year.

Nicola Sturgeon announced last night the covid vaccination programme would be accelerated in response to the rapidly spreading omicron variant of the virus.

But Health Secretary Humza Yousaf today admitted a deadline of Hogmanay would be "extremely challenging".
