Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao were convicted of violating George Floyd’s civil rights when he failed to secure medical attention for Floyd when Officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck, resulting in his death. Kueng and Thao were also charged with failing to intervene as Chauvin harmed Floyd. His trial for second-degree murder commences in June.
