Shocked couple awake to find flock of sheep on their roof
dailyrecord.co.ukA couple who were woken up by strange noises were shocked to find sheep on the roof of their home.Kristen Jackson and Daniel Payne were snoozing in bed at their home in Whitworth, near Rochdale when they heard an unfamiliar noise coming from above.
As the 28-year-old stepped outside to investigate she noticed a flock of sheep on top of her home, reports M.E.N.Kirsten said: "I was working from home and my partner had the day off but I was awake and just heard loads of scuffling on the roof."I woke my partner up and was like 'do you hear that?'.
He said 'it’s probably just birds' - with the wood next to us we get a lot of wood pigeons and it’s not the first time we’ve heard them outside.
But I was sure it sounded much heavier and it was going on for some time."She continued: "I burst out laughing and ran back inside to first of all grab my phone - as I just had to get a photo as no one would believe me - but I shouted at my partner to come out and said he had to see this."I didn’t tell him what it was so when he came out, I think he must of thought I was overreacting to something."He looked up and he couldn’t believe it and started laughing.
