Shetland star Ashley Jensen 'marries Vera's Kenny Doughty in secret ceremony'
ok.co.ukAshley Jensen, known for her roles in Netflix's Afterlife and BBC drama Shetland, is reported to have secretly married her long-term partner Kenny Doughty.
The couple, who met on the set of BBC drama Love, Lies And Records, reportedly had a low-key wedding at Priston Mill near Bath back in August.
According to a friend, Ashley, 54, looked radiant in an off-white gown with floral embroidery and coral platform sandals. The ceremony was said to be filled with love and happiness, with Ashley's 14 year old son from her previous marriage, Francis, present. "There was a very sweet moment when Francis posed for pictures with Ashley and Kenny," the friend told The Mail on Sunday.
They told the publication: "The day looked absolutely beautiful. Ashley looked just so, so happy. She was smiling and laughing, it was simply idyllic.There appeared to be so much love in that room." Ashley, who has also starred in Ugly Betty and Extras, sparked engagement rumours recently after she tried to hide her left hand during an appearance on the Graham Norton Show.
