A TikTok star from Glasgow has told how he went from losing his mum at just six years old and being taken into care to owning two successful wrestling businesses.David McCallum - known also Ravie Davie - said after experiencing a tough start to life, he believed he would become a 'statistic' until he turned his life around when he discovered a passion for wrestling.

Following his mum's death, David from Govan was taken into kinship care and began living with his gran who nurtured his passion, reports Glasgow Live.Speaking to the Scottish charity podcast Objects, he said: "When I was growing up, I always thought I was going to be a statistic.

I didn’t have a lot of hopes for myself even though I felt like I was meant to do something bigger and better. There was a lot of self-doubt.

I got told by teachers, family and social work that I wasn’t going to make anything of my life."Davie decided to peruse professional wrestling so that he could 'make his mum proud'.
