ok.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden worried her fans recently when she mysteriously vanished from social media — however, in a heartwarming twist it has since emerged she was actually enjoying a second honeymoon with her husband Ben.
The 32 year old star revealed on Instagram that she had been absent due to a chaotic week of hospital appointments, before admitting she and Ben had taken a few days to themselves to relax.
But now, in a new chat with The Mirror, Amy has revealed she was actually making up for lost time as she made the most of a sun-soaked getaway to Grenada, courtesy of ITV Daytime show Lorraine!
The well-deserved break comes just nine months on from the professional dancer’s devastating breast cancer diagnosis in May 2023, which resulted in a mastectomy and gruelling chemotherapy treatment to try and get on top of the potentially deadly disease.
