Scots cops launch search for missing Northern Irish man last seen eight days ago

Police in Dundee have launched a search for a Northern Irish man last seen in the city over a week ago.Paul Flynn is originally from Belfast but is knowing to travel, according to officers tasked with investigating his disappearance.

He was last seen on CCTV in Gellatly Street in Dundee city centre at around 3.40pm on Wednesday December 7, but has not been heard from since.The missing 49-year-old is described as 5ft 6ins in height and bald, and he speaks with an Irish accent.

When last seen he was wearing a green puffer jacket with a hood, a black hat and gloves, blue jeans and black shoes, and was carrying a light grey backpack with prominent black piping around the edges.Officers released an image of Paul to accompany the missing person appeal.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are appealing for assistance in tracing missing person Paul Flynn (49).

Mr Flynn was last seen on CCTV in Gellatly Street, Dundee City Centre, about 3:40pm on Wednesday 7th December."He is 5ft 6, bald, and is originally from Belfast and speaks with an Irish accent.
