Glasgow dog treat business owner has secured an huge investment on Dragon’s Den - just over 18 months after her firm was devastated by a blaze.
Dom Hogan appeared on the BBC reality show last night seeking a £50,000 investment from the successful Dragons. Her business, Opie’s Emporium, specialises in manufacturing ‘all natural pet products’ since it was launched in 2018.
Dom started the business as she was unable to find any suitable treats for her six pups that “weren’t just full of rubbish fillers.” She told the Dragons that the business has gone from strength to strength over the past year, as the firm generated around £80,000 in turnover.“I wasn’t planning on actually starting a business”, Dom said.“I still don’t really know what I’m.
