Sara Ramirez is not impressed by The Cut‘s article about their And Just Like That character, Che Diaz.
The actor, who stars as the on-binary bisexual stand-up comedian and Miranda’s partner, has called out The Cut over a recent profile on the character.
The article in question was written in a very “anti-Che” narrative. While published back in June, Sara is just now responding to the narrative and they missed no beats. Keep reading to find out more… Taking to their Instagram, Sara shared some of the images from the article, which they are proud of.
What they were not impressed by though, was the stance and narrative taken in the article. “Been thinking long and hard about how to respond to The Hack Job’s article, ‘written’ by a white gen z non-binary person who asked me serious questions but expected a comedic response I guess (?),” Sara started.
