Roman Kemp says he has 'got his life back' after quitting his role at Capital FM. The 31-year-old brought an end to his decade-long stint of hosting Capital Breakfast earlier this year after saying he needed time for 'himself' after waking up early for seven years to do the early morning show.

Roman was eft breaking down in tears as he hosted his last show on Capital FM on March 28. He announced the news in mid-February while live on Capital with Sian Welby and Chris Stark, saying: "What I can tell you is I’m not saying goodbye right now, I’m not leaving the show today and that’s it, but it’s not far away. "It will come and that goodbye will come in five to six weeks.

It’s not a decision that has come overnight either, it’s massive, I’ve not found it easy at all. Capital is my family, you as the wonderful listeners that you’ve been, you’ve been with me at my best times and my absolute lowest."
