There is a risk of possible flooding across Greater Manchester as some areas have seen over 30mm of rainfall in just 24 hours.

The Met Office has warned that there is a 'small chance' of homes and businesses becoming flooded or damaged with a yellow weather alert in place until 9pm on Monday (August 14).

The alert says that some areas could also become 'temporarily cut off by flooded roads' and that heavy rainfall could lead to 'some difficult driving conditions and road closures' or possible delays on the rail network.
