Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan has sadly passed away. The hitmaker, responsible for songs such as “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” died on Thursday (September 5) at the age of 34.
His family confirmed the news of his “sudden” passing. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by TMZ, Rich Homie Quan (who’s real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar) died at his home in Atlanta, Georgia.
The outlet reported that his family is “shattered and heartbroken by his sudden death.” They are “desperately seeking answers” about the cause of death, which has not yet been confirmed.
A few days before his passing, he shared his final post on Instagram, which included the caption: “Vision clear even though the BS.” It included a photo of him onstage.
