Rangers want Malik Tillman but he 'sees his future elsewhere' as Bayern Munich permanent transfer played down

Rangers hero Kenny Miller reckons Malik Tillman has already decided he DOESN'T want to return to Ibrox next season. Michael Beale revealed ahead of Sunday's clash with Aberdeen that the Bayern Munich loanee had returned to his parent club after picking up a knock during the Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Celtic.

The club are yet to decide whether to trigger a purchase option to sign him permanently from the Bundesliga giants meaning the playmaker may never play another game for Rangers after the hamstring injury abruptly ended his campaign.

Beale revealed that talks over a permanent deal were still "ongoing in the background" with the £5million option to buy in the 20-year-old's contract - which Miller has taken as a strong hint that the club are keen to keep the attacking midfielder next season.

However, he believes Tillman will want to take on a challenge away from the Scottish Premiership next term. Asked if Tillman would play for Rangers again, Miller told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: "I don't think so.
