Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry has revealed the promise he made to Meghan Markle during their spontaneous third date to Africa that he has kept ever since.

While most couple's third date might involve a nice meal or trip to the cinema, Harry and Meghan jetted off on a five-day holiday to Botswana.

Harry invited Meghan on the trip after they realised that their packed schedules only alined for one week in the summer of 2016, according to the Mirror.

The country has always held a special place in the Duke of Sussex's heart - its where he spent time following the death of his mother Princess Diana and took part in several conservation projects in the years since.The couple spent the whirlwind trip going on safari, relaxing round a campfire and drinking cocktails made from river water.
