dailyrecord.co.ukPrimark shoppers were left in fits of laughter when a woman noticed a tracksuit strikingly similar to the iconic outfits worn by coach Sue Sylvester from the hit musical series Glee.Sash, who goes by @sashadewar1 on TikTok, was hunting for bargains in a UK branch of the popular high-street store when she stumbled upon the red ensemble.
The set included red joggers and a matching buttoned crop top with long sleeves, both featuring white stripes down the sides.She instantly made the connection between the outfit and the costume of Sue Sylvester, portrayed by Jane Lynch.
In Glee, Sue is the acerbic cheerleading coach known for her sharp remarks, intense rivalry with the Glee club, and sporadic moments of warmth under her tough exterior.They are brightly coloured, often red or blue, with sporty stripes, making it her signature look. "Primark in their Sue Sylvester era," she wrote in the video, which has gained more than 3,100 likes.Sash then added in the caption: "And that's how Sue sees it x" as a reference to the character's news segment on the show.
She also used a sound clip from the show where Sue says to Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer): "You know, there's only one person in the world who can tell you what you are." Kurt replies: "Me?" But Sue instantly corrects him with one of her legendary jibes.
