Owners and regulars at a popular Caribbean food spot have been left 'devastated' after flames tore through the Chorlton eatery this morning.

Emergency services were scrambled to he Jerk Junction restaurant on Manchester Road. at around 10:30am on Wednesday morning (August 23).

Pictures and videos showed the restaurant charred by the shocking blaze, which started in the restaurant but spread to flats above.

The restaurant announced they would be closed until further notice, writing on their Facebook page: "Devastated, closed until further notice due unforeseen circumstances.
