Police investigation launched after girl injured in dog attack

Police have launched an investigation after a girl was injured in a dog attack in Tameside. Officers were called to Stanhope Fields at around 1:10pm on Saturday (August 10).

Police said a girl was found injured, but did not require an ambulance and did not need to be taken to hospital. Police are now investigating the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time.
