Polbeth women get head shaved for charity during crisis

Two friends have had their heads shaved to help raise money for people in their community struggling because of coronavirus.Lindsay Kinsman and Sarah Thomson, who live near each other in Polbeth, decided to shave their heads to raise funds for the Covid-19 response fund at Polbeth Community Hub.So far they have raised over £900 which will help volunteers deliver supplies and offer comfort to those in need during this crisis.The charity is currently offering help in the community by providing food parcels and meals to those in need, as well as being on hand to offer support and contact via the phone to those in self isolation.Lindsay will also donate her hair to the The Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children with hair loss, once
