In the style of Jaws, the movie saw them doing battle with an oversized force of nature. Nearly 30 years later, there are talks to put a new spin on the movie, and details are starting to emerge. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter, the new movie is from Columbia Pictures with Tom Gormican directing and collaborating on the script.
It’s been in development for more than a year. The new version of the story will center on “a group of friends facing mid-life crises who are remaking their favorite movies from their youth.” Reports have suggested that either Paul or Jack could play an “erstwhile director” who is working as a wedding videographer.
