Paedophile rocker Gary Glitter could lose his multi-million pound fortune after more women have come forward to sue him, a source said. The disgraced singer, 80, was this week told to pay more than £500,000 for abusing a 12-year-old child in the 1970s and lawyers are believed to be confident they can get more cash from Glitter’s estate, reports the Mirror.Glitter, real name Paul Gadd, was jailed for 16 years in 2015 for assaulting three schoolgirls between 1975 and 1980.

This week a High Court judge said that one of them is entitled to £508,000 compensation to cover the time she has been unable to work and the suffering caused. It is not yet known if the women thought to have recently instructed solicitors were involved in the UK court case.A source said: “More victims have come forward.” Documents filed to Companies House show a firm Glitter founded, now run by associates, has £137,873 in assets.

It paid off the mortgage on Glitter’s £2million flat in Baker Street, Central London. Added to his estate are the royalties he is understood to still be raking in while in jail.

A source said: “Though some were paused some years ago it may not be the case with all of them.” The beast sold 18 million records by 1975 and despite no longer owning the master rights, he is believed to still get half the royalties as songwriter.
