Hollyoaks star Owen Warner has paid tribute to his on-screen sister Niamh Blackshaw - whose cancer-stricken character died in devastating final scenes this week.
Viewers of the Channel 4 soap were left distraught after the death of Juliet Nightingale, played by Niamh, on Wednesday night’s episode.
Juliet was diagnosed with stage three Hodgkin Lymphoma - an uncommon form of cancer - earlier this year. Owen Warner, who plays Juliet’s big brother Romeo Nightingale, has now taken to Instagram to heap praise on Niamh.
He also shared a number of pictures of the pair on-set together.The 24 year old actor said: “It’s been emotional lil Niamh, best little sister I could’ve asked for.
