A massive brawl broke out at a high school in Baltimore County recently as parents and community activists raise the alarm on children's safety.  Cell phone video captured by a bystander shows two groups of students swinging wildly at each other in the hallways of Lansdowne High School.  Lansdowne High School educates about 1,345 students in Baltimore County, Maryland.  (Google Maps) The school's principal tried to break up the altercation and was attacked, according to Fox 45. "How can our kids learn when they're in this fight or flight mode? We wonder why the grades and proficiency levels are down so low because how can these kids learn when they're surrounded by violence," Darren Badillo, a Baltimore County Parent and Student Coalition member, told the local news outlet.  Testing has shown that many students in Baltimore are falling behind.

A woman accused of being a member of the so-called "green goblin gang" that attacked two teenagers on a Manhattan subway train turned herself on Monday and was released Tuesday without bail.  The NYPD said Mariam Issouf, 26, was arrested Monday in connection with the Oct. 2 assault on the northbound N platform at the 42 Street-Times Square subway station.  New York City police released images of four woman who were allegedly part of a group of suspects wearing neon-green bodysuits while attacking two women on a subway train.  (Fox New York ) Two 19-year-old female victims told NYPD officers they were engaged in a verbal dispute with a group of unidentified individuals.

An Indiana man accused of smuggling three migrants crashed his car during a high-speed chase in Uvalde County recently, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Richard Diaz, 21, allegedly told police that he was being paid $3,000 per person to smuggle the migrants from the border community of Eagle Pass to San Antonio.  He was charged with two counts of human smuggling causing serious bodily injury, Texas DPS spokesman Christopher Olivarez told Fox News Digital.  The driver sped off during an apparent traffic stop in Uvalde County, Texas.  (Texas Department of Public Safety) Dashcam footage shows the driver accelerate away from an apparent traffic stop at night. New York police reportedly launched a strike force after the shooting outside of Rep. A pumpkin weighing 2,560 pounds set a new U.S. record on Monday at the 49th World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in northern California.  The giant gourd was presented at the contest in Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco.  Minnesota horticulture teacher, Travis Gienger, drove with the pumpkin for 35 hours and won the same contest two years ago.  "Minnesota has a great midyear, but our spring in our parts is really, really tough. Zeldin, R-N.Y., read a prepared statement and then took questions on Sunday following a shooting that left two 17-year-olds wounded with non-life threatening injuries. He explained that his two 16-year-old daughters were inside the Long Island home when the shooting happened, with a bullet landing only 30 feet from one of them.

For the first time ever, the entire New Testament of the Bible will be spoken aloud word for word, by memory, on stage.  Tom Meyer, a professor of Bible studies from northern Kentucky, had the idea of bringing people together to recite God’s word — without a script.  With help from the ICR Discovery Center for Earth and Science, a museum in Dallas, Texas, Meyer is hosting an event for the entire community to see, in person and via live stream, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, as the New Testament is spoken aloud fully and completely from memory.
