Not long now! This Morning’s Sian Welby bounces on birthing ball as she prepares to welcome baby girl
ok.co.ukCapital Radio DJ and This Morning showbiz presenter Sian Welby, who is pregnant with her first child, proved she still had a sense of humour when she shared a video on Sunday 16 June in her back garden, bouncing on a blue birthing ball as she revealed her blossoming baby bump.The 37 year old from Nottingham captioned the video: “The only Summertime Ball I’ll be going to”, referring jokingly to how she would miss the star-studded concert happening that same day - put on by her station Capital FM at London's Wembley Stadium, one which she would normally attend.
The star, who revealed the sex of her first child during her Capital Breakfast "baby shower" at the beginning of this month alongside her co-hosts Jordan North and Chris Star, is expecting a little girl with her fiancé, radio producer Jake Beckett, any day now.
Sian has kept delighted fans updated throughout her pregnancy during her TV and radio appearances, showing off her maternity clothes and daily musings on life with bump.
During her last appearance on This Morning on June 7, before going on maternity leave, co-host Ben Shephard playfully said: "First it’s time for the latest showbiz news, Sian is here, for your very last date with us before you go off to pop", to which Sian replied: "Yes, exactly which I think I’ve pushed as far as I can without going into labour on this sofa!" The down to earth radio presenter jetted off to Tenerife with Jake - who Sian became engaged to during a romantic holiday to Greece in 2023 - for a babymoon in April.
