Council tenants across North Lanarkshire are receiving letters and leaflets giving advice on how to prevent condensation and damp in their homes, plus details of maximising incomes by accessing financial support.The winter campaign of “important information to help protect your home” comes after councillors from all parties unanimously agreed the need for action to help residents.It outlines the signs and causes of condensation and damp and gives advice on reducing the risk through producing less moisture and suggesting ways to ventilate and heat homes, and directs people to the council’s dedicated cost of living website for details of financial support options.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
