Noah Lyles is sadly bowing out of the 2024 Paris Olympics. On Thursday (August 8), the 27-year-old Team USA athlete competed in the 200-meter race, just two days after testing positive for COVID-19.
He ended up winning bronze, but had to be taken off the track in a wheelchair. Hours later, Noah announced that his Olympics journey was over as he continued to battle COVID. Finally I want to thank everyone for the supportive messages.” “I believe this will be the end of my 2024 Olympics. It is not the Olympic I dreamed of but it has left me with so much Joy in my heart,” Noah continued. “I hope everyone enjoyed the show.
