Former Manchester United transfer target Martin Zubimendi has admitted that he wasn't under any pressure from his inner circle to leave Real Sociedad during the summer transfer window.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News in July, the 25-year-old had made his way onto United's list of targets as they stepped up their search for a defensive-minded midfielder.
Zubimendi won his 10th cap for Spain during their 2-1 victory over England in the final of the European Championship in Germany.
He stepped off the bench at half-time to replace Rodri and played a key role in Spain getting themselves over the line.
