‘NFL Pro Era’ VR Game Shifts to Live-Services Model for 2025 Edition, Adds Defensive Gameplay (EXCLUSIVE)

Jennifer Maas TV Business Writer StatusPro’s “NFL Pro Era” will launch as a live-services offering for the VR game’s upcoming 2025 edition.

An immersive, first-person simulation that gives users a professional football player’s perspective through VR technology, the new version of “NFL Pro Era” will add the position of linebacker to gameplay, allowing players to rush the quarterback, record sacks, make tackles and nab interceptions.

Pricing for “NFL Pro Era 2025” will be $19.99 for users who own either of the game’s first two versions and $39.99 for new players, an increase from the $14.99 price point for the most recent edition of the game.

No specific release date has been set for the title, but StatusPro confirms “NFL Pro Era 2025” will be available on Meta Quest during the 2024 NFL season this fall.
