New Year's bin collection dates and alterations for every Scottish council

So, pickup days can usually vary a little around this period meaning that it's worth checking ahead before taking yours out.Keep in mind that taking out the bin can become an important job around this time, as there will be plenty of waste that has built up over the festive season.As reported by the Scottish Daily Express, here are a full list of bin collection times and alterations over the New Year's period:There will be no mixed recycling collection on January 2.
There are no planned changes to other bin collection days over the festive period. Please ensure your bins are out at 7am on your collection day.Collections due on Monday, January 2 will be made on Friday, January 6.
Collections due on Tuesday, January 3 will be collected as normal.Household recycling centres will be closed on New Year’s and reopen on Tuesday, January 3.
