Netflix viewers were forced to "switch off" their screens as they watched the brand new series, Buying London. In a bid to be the UK's version of the hugely popular Selling Sunset, viewers were left unimpressed with the new show as they labelled it the "worst thing" they'd ever seen.
Buying London kicked off on Wednesday, 22 May on the streaming platform with high expectations that it would bring a binge-worthy series in which we could gawk at million-pound mansions and watch some harmless office drama unfold.
It comes after the glamorous world of Selling Sunset introduced us to six-figure commissions, 30-bedroom Malibu mansions and Oppenheim twins, Jason and Brett on the quest to make as much money as possible.
While the storyline follows a bunch of beautiful people selling incredible homes but this time across the UK, it seems it didn't quite cut it and received a zero-star review from The Guardian. The publisher went so far as to describe it as "probably the most hateable TV show ever made" - ouch!
