Mystery surrounds the tragic death of a couple who lay dead together in their flat for up to nine days before being found.Police officers forced their way into the property to discover the bodies of 36-year-old Fiona McGivan and Carl Miller, 33, in a bedroom just after 1pm on March 24.

Neighbour Maxine Davis, who lived above the couple in Rubery, Worcestershire, last heard them at 1am on March 16 “shouting, laughing and playing music” and thought that they had gone out the next morning as they were not answering the door for a parcel at 9am, an inquest heard.
