Mum explains how to pronounce unusual baby name – but people still 'don't understand'

If you go too wacky, people may struggle to pronounce the name. And that's what happened to one mum – who called her child Ehektra, “pronounced with an H”.

On social media, the mother confessed: “It’s a made-up spelling, I just liked it. My other daughter’s name is Sieanna instead of Sienna.” But people still couldn’t wrap their heads around how to pronounce the name.

When pushed again for further clarification on the odd name’s pronunciation, the mum said: “With a H, so it’s like ‘h-letra’.” To which, someone replied: “I still don’t understand.
