Motorcyclist seriously injured in horror crash after smashing into barrier in Glencoe

A motorcyclist is in hospital after a 'serious' road crash in Glencoe.Six motorbikes had been travelling northbound on the A82 on Wednesday, June 8, when one - a red and black Lifan LF - smashed into a barrier on the opposite side of the road.Emergency services were scrambled to the scene after receiving the report at 2.30pm.

Medics attended and rushed the 40-year-old male driver to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he currently remains.

He is being treated for serious injuries. Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.Nobody else was hurt during the incident and no other vehicles were involved.Police are appealing to members of the public for information about the crash.
