Morrisons shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards for a pasta sauce that has been recalled over fears it may be unsafe for some to eat.A food alert was issued to The Food Standards Agency (FSA) explaining that the supermarket chain has recalled the Morrisons Tomato and Chilli Pasta sauce (350g) over undeclared ingredients. Some packs of the sauce have been found to contain both milk and pepperoni which has not been declared on the ingredients list on the label.

It means that the item is unsuitable for anyone with an allergy or an intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The alert also explained that the affected product will have a use by date of January 25.

No other product is said to be affected by the issue. Customers are being urged not to eat the product and to return it to their nearest store where they will be provided with a full refund, even without a receipt.
