Stirling residents could be forced to wait four weeks for their bins to be collected under new cost-savings plans to be considered by councillors.The plans are contained within a report to be tabled at a council meeting on Tuesday.Officers are asking councillors to approve plans to change the collection of the existing grey general waste bins and blue plastic recycling from fortnightly to monthly.If given the green light the plans would be in place by February 2021.According to the report, drawn up by the council’s waste services manager Kevin McCormick, the switch is hoped to deliver a saving of £357,000 for the local authority.It claims the change is driven by a need to deliver “significant savings” and says that a similar move by.
