But all roads lead to Glasgow for Diomande as signing guru Nils Koppen and boss Philippe Clement close in on a key recruit to beef up their bid to wrestle the title away from rivals Celtic.
Clement has made clear his desire for quality arrivals and he will believe Diomande fits the bill. He earned acclaim for his displays in the Europa Conference League with Nordsjaelland and will get the chance to feature in the Europa League with Rangers as they enter at the last 16 stage.
