Greater Manchester will be shrouded in a grey blanket of mist and fog for the morning of Remembrance Sunday. Forecasters at the Met office have warned of 'dense' fog patches, befitting the sombre gatherings to take place at memorials across the region.
Steven Keates, forecaster, told the Manchester Evening News that Saturday afternoon would stay bright and pleasant, with temperatures hovering around 12 degrees, before a 'cold and frosty' night ahead, when temperatures are expected to plummet to as little as 3 degrees in rural areas.
