Miranda Hart has told how she hit 'rock bottom' during her battle with ill health and how an eventual chronic illness diagnosis brought 'relief'.
The comedian and actress, who appeared in her own semi-autobiographical sitcom Miranda, first went public with her ill health in August as she confirmed that she was releasing a new book, I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You, in which she'll talk about her time away from the spotlight.
But she's also previously shared how she hopes that by telling the story of her health struggles in her memoir, which is out on Thursday (October 10), will help others going through tough times. I was basically bed-bound - and housebound. There’d be times where I’d look at a glass of water, and think ‘I don’t know how to pick that up." She added: "All anyone wants is to be heard, accepted, loved and seen… and when you’re not - particularly in a medical situation - it’s the worst.
