Michelle Keegan has proven that her fame and fortune can't win her any more of her mother's affection as she joked about her favouritism in a new video.

The actress took to Instagram over the weekend as she spent some time with her mum, Jackie. Stockport-born Michelle was close to home over the weekend and so took her mum out for Sunday lunch.

In the clip posted to her Instagram Story, the 36-year-old looked fresh-faced as she looked at the camera, showing her brunette locks down in a soft curl and wearing a cream sweatshirt.

The former Coronation Street star, who shot to fame after playing Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap from 2008 until 2014 when the character was killed off in shocking scenes, appeared unimpressed as she panned the camera to show her mum on her phone. She then added: "Some things never change!" And after showing her mum busy typing away on her mobile, she panned the camera back onto herself and appeared to roll her eyes.
