former teacher and convicted child rapist, Mary Kay Letourneau, says he is “offended” that no one involved in the new Netflix movie, “May December,” reached out to him before its release.
The film, which stars Natalie Portman and Julianna Moore, tells a story similar to Fualaau’s real-life ordeal. Fualaau was her second-grade student in suburban Seattle when he first met Letourneau.
He was later victimized by her at the age of 12 when she was 34.Two years, later she became pregnant with their first daughter.
The couple married in 2005, after Letourneau served more than seven years in prison for second-degree child rape. They had two children.In the drama, Portman portrays an actress who becomes obsessed with a couple with a similar backstory.
