Manchester United youngster Finley McAllister said it was an 'unbelievable feeling' to have contributed to England Under-17s' eye-catching 10-0 win over New Caledonia in their World Cup opener on Saturday.
The young Three Lions made the perfect start to their World Cup campaign in Indonesia, blowing their opponents away in style.
They raced into a 4-0 lead by half-time and added another six goals to their collection after the restart, meaning they have taken up residency at the top of Group C.
United midfielder McAllister, who has made six appearances for the Reds' Under-18s in the Under-18s Premier League so far this season, scoring two goals and grabbing two assists, stepped off the bench just past the hour mark with England already six goals to the good.
