Ping pong bats at the ready - a new bar combining the joys of ping pong, drinks and pizza is heading to Manchester. Called HIT, it’ll be arriving at the Circle Square development on Oxford Road.

Set to open by the end of the summer, the bar spread itself over 4,500 sq ft, with a host of table tennis tables on which you’ll be able to take on pals or other keen ping pong fans.

HIT will take on the large unit underneath the Vita Living development’s East Tower, on the site of the old BBC building. HIT spokesperson Juan Pascumal said: “It’s fantastic to close the deal with Vita Group and start work on our new concept HIT.

Circle Square offers an incredible platform to launch the brand – thousands of students and young professionals are living on-site, it’s surrounded by fantastic offices welcoming a large workforce and adjoins one of highest footfall roads in the city - Oxford Road.
