Manchester City will return with an offer of £60million for Matheus Nunes, according to reports. Wolves boss Gary O'Neil confirmed the Molineux club have rejected an initial offer from City for their midfielder.
That bid was reportedly £47m. City want to sign another midfielder in the wake of Kevin de Bruyne's serious injury. Nunes and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze have been earmarked as potential targets.
According to Football Insider, City will return with another offer for Nunes, valuing him at £60m. The report claims City are confident the package will be enough to tempt Wolves into a sale.
