Luxury wedding venue The Parsonage at Dunmore Park is to be put on the market. The award-winning venue in Airth is to be sold with plans to turn it back into a home.An application has already been submitted to turn the sprawling hotel into private residences.

Owner Steven McLeod, who also lives at the site, told Falkirk Live that all weddings booked this year will go ahead - and booking planned for 2023 will be given the option of Airth Castle or Glenbervie, which also belongs to the hotelier.

I've had The Parsonage for many years now and it has certainly served it's purpose."The Parsonage will be on the market next week, and I've already had interest from a few families."For now though, my focus will be on Airth Castle and Glenbervie."I have a few exciting things in the bag and some big changes are coming so what this space."I also just want to make clear that no jobs will be lost as a result of this sale, and that's because The Parsonage is only seasonal, so I use staff from Airth Castle to cover the weddings."
