Nurse Lucy Letby told police that any deliberate dose of insulin given to poison a twin baby boy was 'not done by me', her murder trial has heard.

Letby, 33, is accused of intentionally poisoning the baby while working at the Countess of Chester Hospital’s neo-natal unit, as well as the attempted murders of 9 other babies and murder of seven youngsters between June 2015 and June 2016.

She denies all the charges. Prosecuters allege she harmed the infant on April 9 2016 and also on the same day caused the sudden collapse of his brother who stopped breathing as his oxygen levels and heart rate dropped.
