Love Island signs up Welsh footballer who hates 'clingy girls' and 'patchy fake tan'
ok.co.ukA surprise new bombshell is about to shake things up in the Love Island villa – Welsh footballer Scott Van Der Sluis.The goalkeeper's day job is playing for Irish Premier Division club Shelbourne, but now he's planning on spending the summer looking for love on the ITV2 dating show.
Scott, 22, might have been single for three and a half years, but despite claiming that means he's "ready and open to anything", he has a specific list of what gives him the ick.
He said: "Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts. "I’m not a fan of someone wearing Nike Air Force 1 trainers with a dress on a night out either or waking up with someone and seeing patchy fake tan in the morning." He added: "I’ve been single through my own choice, as well as circumstances.
I’ve moved around a lot with football and I’ve been based in Dublin playing football for over a year." Scott was the youngest goalie ever to play with the Welsh national team, so his life has mainly been dedicated to sport rather than dating so far.
