Love Island’s Tom Clare confirms Samie Elishi split and admits he’s ‘gutted’
ok.co.ukTom Clare has confirmed he and Samie Elishi have gone their separate ways and broken up.The Love Island star wrote on his Instagram story: "I didn't think I'd be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways... "We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her.
I'm gutted it's come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best." It comes after reports that Tom and Samie decided to call it quits on their relationship as it is believed they have struggled with the long distance with Samie being based in London and Tom living in Macclesfield.
Before Tom confirmed the news, a source previously told The Sun: "Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. "There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere. “The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.” Since the reports, Tom has already been busy working on his career after announcing his deal with eBay.
And it seems he has the support of his bestie Casey as the pair were seen working on a new project together. "Shooting with @ebay-uk today," Casey, 26, wrote over the clip on his Instagram.
